How do you bypass a door switch on a Kenmore clothes dryer (gas)?
Unplug the dryer first
Don’t know what year this is …….. but most common is as follows
Pop the top of the dryer using a screwdriver, butter knife, something like that.
To the right of the drum {usually} looking inside the cabinet you will see a switch with two terminals.
You don’t have to remove the switch but you need to safely connect the two wires.
Remember it is line voltage running through there….. so be safe, and if it’s bad, replace it, these things are installed on the door for a reason
